Festival Season Begins!

With just six much needed sleeps to go till the opening night of Festival 08 a gathering of hard working EIF staff let off some steam at The List Fringe Launch party last night. The Speigeltent played host to a veritable circus of humanity as stilt walkers, fairies, devils, jugglers, burlesque dancers, comedians, geisha girls and all manner of fantasy creatures congregated for the first of the festival season parties. Lurking in amongst that lot was a small but dedicated contingency of committed schmoozers from the EIF office. The rain did make an appearance but as umbrellas were wantonly abandoned and the free beers held high the spirit of the festival and all its madness was truly embraced. On another note, we’re still finding glitter in our hair……
