This may not be surprising to those who have seen the show before as it involves more than 100,000 fireworks, four tonnes of explosives and hundreds of firing sequences including the now famous fireworks waterfall. Last year more than a quarter of a million people watched the spectacular show which is the largest event of its kind in Europe. The Festival 08 finale takes place on Sunday 31 August and there are a mere handful of tickets left for a lucky few who still want a spot in Princes Street Gardens. To buy tickets phone The Hub on 0131 473 2000.
